ejones51504 @claire1134 Most watches like this that are older are not waterproof at all. In fact, most watches are not waterproof at all, which is rare. In fact, they're just water resistant. this watch particular is most likely water. Resistant, but I would say just a tad bit of water. Resistant, most likely. It will get moisture inside of the face of the watch. Because of the age of the watch, moisture will build up inside of it, and it will be hard to read the time.

ejones51504 @claire1134 eventually the moisture will dissipate, but it does take time. Also, it will ruin the integrity of the watch Overtime. So yes, watches like this are not meant to be worn around a lot of water, like pools or gardening. Such places like that where there's a lot of water. I don't suggest that. No

ejones51504 @claire1134 but to answer your question, yes, see our water resistant, but they're not waterproof waterproof is you jumping into the pool with your watch on and those watches are rare and they're very expensive.

ejones51504 My apologies for the numerous messages, Claire1134. This watch is durable enough for washing dishes and even accidental showers, though I recommend removing it quickly if it gets wet. As a watch collector, I sometimes forget to take off my dainty watches, and it's a bit of a rush to remove them before submersion. Prolonged underwater exposure can damage the watch, so it's best to avoid that.
