sharreld4 Sorry two more questions!!!!:) I see that the hood is detachable….do you know if just the fur can come off (is the fur detachable)? And finally, what is the paneling made of (like on the back sides and around the pockets)? Is it corduroy?! I can see some type of stripes? Thanks so much!!!!:)

heatherhugo @sharreld4 the hood comes off whole, you can't just remove the fur. the sides are the same material as the rest of jacket just ruched(sp) together. tag says it's all polyester. sides are polyester polyester spandex. I'll try to take more pics

I appreciate all the time you took to respond!!!!:):) And the pic you took to show the rouching (lol however that’s spelled) is great!!!:) Ok I promise these are my last two questions…..1. Would you say this is purple or maroon (more dark red like wine red)? And 2. Do you think I should wash it when it comes or have you always had this coat since you bought it at like a department store and kept it clean? Thanks!!!!:):)

heatherhugo @sharreld4 I would say a dark wine/maroon color. it has never been washed. I got it last winter but never wore or washed it. it's been hanging in my closet so you might want to wash it.
