sparklechick1 @rockitjudy69 yes, I know, but I need the actual measurement—is it 15” across? 16”? 17”? Not all jeans are born equal…or more specifically, designed the same, or made in the same factory/country. You’d be AMAZED at the differences within the same size for the same product made by different factories….

rockitjudy69 @sparklechick1 okay so all the way around is 36" and straight across on the waist is 17" and the inseem is 31" long. I'm sorry I hope this helps. I'm not the best at this.

sparklechick1 @rockitjudy69 Thanks! Straight across the waist is fine--it's too hard to go all the way around, so it's easiest to just go straight across and then double it to get the waist. (Same thing for bust, BTW--if anyone asks you for p2p, that's armpit to armpit, just measure straight across. The bust will be double that.). The inseam at 31" sounds like a regular length to me, so perfect for most people! Unfortunately I'm short and need 29", which is why I ask. But it will work for someone!

I’ve only been doing this a couple months myself, to empty my own closet and buy new, and quickly realized the importance of knowing measurements when you can’t try things on. And being short and busty, certain measurements are really important! Happy poshing and good luck selling!

denisepgaynor can you triple confirm the waist side to side? I ordered 2 other apt 9 jeans size 10. The listings said 17 in across. they were both 15 in. I don't know how they made it look like they were 17 in. no matter how I tried I couldn't get to 17. my sz 8 apt 9 jeans measured 16 but they're snug. Now I'm trying to dispute both I'm getting a hard time from Poshmark. I don't want to have a 3rd dispute. I'm sorry but I have to be careful that I don't have to return these too.

rockitjudy69 @denisepgaynor understood. so in the comments above is all measurements. seems like Apt 9 isn't on point with their sizing so I measured them. 36" all the way around straight across the waist is - 17" and inseam is 3" long
