Lindstrom Electric Phonograph 777
Tin Litho Toy Record Player
This 1940s-1950s tin toy phonograph was manufactured by the Lindstrom Corporation of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The Lindstrom model 777 "electric phonograph" is a classic Victrola-style player with a reproducer and hollow tonearm that delivers sound through the grill slits on the sides of the tin body. While it has a 78 rpm electric motor, there is no internal amplifier or speaker. The motor is not quiet.
The phonograph shows normal wear and tear from age and use. The turntable still has its blue velvet coating. While it doesn’t come with a needle, it’s easy to find the correct one online. (Be careful as needles will slowly damage your 78s.) If you play a 45 on this it will sound speeded up.
Please inspect the photos to grade condition. Visually it’s in very good shape for something this old. It does have some scratched paint here or there but colors remain bright.
