@niknikk2021 crazing is not same as cracks - a crack compromised the product integrity and structure whereas crazing is cracks in only the glaze - a lot of dishes are crazed but structurally sound / there are chips in bow tie as shown in the pics and my price reflects these imperfections- I sold one of these in the past in perfect condition for over 150$

@niknikk2021 also please note that when I say chips in bow - the bow does extend down the sides as well if this helps clarify any confusion- I believe there is a chip or two on bow sides but truly overall a nice piece

@niknikk2021 crazing does not affect the quality or integrity or structure of the plate - ceramics such as plates are coated with a glaze - some are not and so therefore they’re not glossy but matted,

@niknikk2021 the only thing on that donut affected is the glaze when u bite into it - it cracks due to the pressure of your teeth in it

@niknikk2021 plates with crazing in the glaze experience similar trauma due to whatever reasons - now if the plate has a hairline crack that had been repaired by glue then that’s what u should worry about - that would affect the integrity of the plate

@niknikk2021 this has glazing in the glossy part - otherwise it’s very nice and the glazing is mainly in the lid part not the underlying pedestal - hope this is helpful info as u continue to make purchases in the future
