This is our standard T-handle version featuring an easy-to-grip T-handle design, and a 1/4 inch round threaded steel probe with a coned end for easy insertion into the ground. PLEASE NOTE: This device cannot be plugged into a ground fault (GFI) outlet or any circuit controlled by a GFI outlet or a GFI breaker. It must be plugged into a standard outlet or it will trip the GFI breaker. GFI outlets are designed to do this when there is a difference between the output current of the hot wire and the returning current of the neutral wire. Since this device is discharging current directly into the ground, there will be no return current via a neutral wire.
