Wyatt Jersey Knit Chevron Maxi Dress Navy/White Sz XS

V-neck maxi dress with adjustable spaghetti straps; half-circle fullness. Made from four bias-cut pieces of 1” navy-and-white striped rayon jersey, seamed at center front and back and at sides to create chevrons. Shirred under bust and has a wide black elastic band across back to give shape. Unlined. Unhemmed (bottom edge raw). No pockets! Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. 100% rayon. Made in USA 🇺🇸. Excellent used condition. Worn and washed once. As other listings note, Wyatt’s maxi dresses run long (this one’s around 62” from shoulder when hanging). I’m 5’6 and wore this dress with 5” platform wedges and it still touched the ground. Having said that, I felt so light and relaxed wearing it. It’s comfortable, soft and flowy (a half-circle full!), very easy and breezy. Just delightful. And, hey, if it’s too long, it can be cut to any length…and the scraps used to make something else (headbands, hair ties, scrunchies, dusters, wrapped hangers, snuffle mats for dogs…). Seriously, I’m guessing there are at least 3 yards of fabric here - you might even make money by purchasing this and upcycling! (With comparable fabrics starting around $6/yd, that’s $18 worth of material.) Alas, if only I sewed!
