bacarpe59 Medium? The tag indicates petite extra small.

vlt_thrifter @bacarpe59 Actually sizes, unlike prices, are being deflated: Ten years ago, a size 8 could easily qualify as a size 2 today; a size 4 in the 1990s might be a zero. My suggestion would be to look at the measurements I’ve listed and compare those to your own to see if it is a fit. Thanks for your comment. Happy Poshing!

bacarpe59 @vlt_thrifter i own several of these dresses. All of them are consistent in their sizing. Again, I want to verify this is a medium, as you stated, because your photo says otherwise.

vlt_thrifter @bacarpe59 The rise of so-called vanity sizing has rendered most labels meaningless. As Americans have grown physically larger, brands have shifted their metrics to make shoppers feel skinnier—so much so that a women's size 12 in 1958 is now a size 6. I encourage you to do your research. It’s a fact that standard sizing changed over these decades. I am not changing the “M” size with this post. And I encourage you to buy clothing based in measurements. Happy Poshing.
