emariescloset You said it stretches to 40. I’m looking for a large. Do you think it would stretch too wide? I know washing shrinks or but I worry about the stretch. Thank you.

This skirt does fit like a true Women’s XL - if you’re looking for a L it may fit a little loose on you. It may also be slightly stretched out as it is gently used. dolly404 These were made only for a yr or 2 beginning in 2007+ appeared in Marshalls as early as 2008 because people hesitated wondering if they would stay up w/o a sewn-in waistband. Many have been put in dryers even though the size tag states cold water only+ the spandex 5% used in the waist area deteriorates w/age+ heat- they don't stay up that well. I bought over 40 of these in the last several yrs+when cotton ages, is worn+ washed a lot, it tends to thin, tear, develop holes so they don't last long
