@imahar i normally wear L or XL, suit/ chest size is between 44 and 46 as a reference. i bought an xl peacoat and it was too small in the body and narrow in the arms, i think due to the thicker lining but that's why I'm looking at xxl now. any ideas on how that compares to how you remembering this coat fitting?

@jimmyjpnw I normally wear XL, and it was too large for me (but by a narrow-enough margin that I considered keeping it). I can't speculate as to how it differs from most XXLs, as I don't normally wear that size, but I would imagine this one isn't too much of a substantial deviation above an XL, if that helps!
