robinmclaugh650 @waterwoman I hope you weren’t anywhere here the fires. My aunt is in west LA and we have my grandmother place in Santa Monica still. It’s beautiful and thankfully was safe.

waterwoman @robinmclaugh650 thank goodness your grandmas home in Santa Monica is safe and your aunties in west La, I lived in So Cal for 8 yrs in Hermosa beach ( approx 20 miles south of Santa Monica off HWY 1 or as we call it PCH ( Pacific Coast Hwy) pacific palisades , Malibu , Santa Monica and Venice Beach were my weekend hangouts love Santa Monica shopping & restaurants the prominade back in the day. I moved back to the Bay Area in 2004 from LA county

waterwoman @robinmclaugh650 on Jan 7 seeing that pacific palisades on fire and the winds was awful to see I had to limit watching .. we have had 2 firestorms here in Santa Rosa in 2017 my fathers home burnt down his whole neighborhood did ,, my area was evacuated for 2 weeks my neighbors and I were fortunate to have our homes ..whole neighborhoods were just gone so strange and eerie . The winds were so strong .. the fire creates its own weather sooo weird
