berryandlace @chelseabrown197 Hi! No tears. Inside is satin velvet lining that has pilling/lint on it, but good condition (pic 5). Shape of the flap is sort of flimsy when opening it but holds shape. Overall very usable and nothing anyone would see. The main con is that the patent has a sticky feel.

chelseabrown197 @berryandlace thank you! Is that simply due to the material/leather of the bag? Nothing previously damaged that would cause it?

berryandlace @chelseabrown197 Yes, I bought it preowned like that. The seller said it’s due to old age. I looked it up and it does seem like patent becomes like that after a long time. I don’t believe anything caused it like a spill because it’s even on the inside of the patent right next to the satin inner lining, which isn’t sticky at all and feels very smooth and clean. I googled some ways to remove it and it seems like it could possibly be removed, but I’m not sure.
