@mn59 Good morning! thank you. I purchased this item this way. I took a look, and it appears the strap is screwed it. In my opinion, the 2 screws could be unscrewed, but I can't guarantee that it wouldn't leave some type of damage. I definitely leave the removal of the strap to the buyer. I'm happy to take a picture to show how the strap is attached. Lastly, if interested, please feel free to make a reasonable offer. Happy Poshing!
