This item was originally sold in Athens, Greece in the Athens Hilton Hotel. The Designer is Yannis Travassaros. The designer created hand woven fashions in the 1970’s. He wanted to get away from synthetics and stick with clean/simple lines (according to a Nee York Times article titled “Athens Rediscovers its Crafts” 1976).
