baseball_jen I can attest to this. I had 26 piercings at once for a long time in my life and each one was surgical stainless steel. You can wear then 24/7 in any environment and they will be fine (& only 16bof the 26 were on my ears so I had to be careful. My piece told me it was the best way to go if you planned to leave then in 24/7. Just wanted to highly recommend this bc it was great advice for the close to 25 yrs I had them!! ☆☆☆☆☆

baseball_jen @oneinamillionjj I'm really glad you posted this. Its an extremely important piece of knowledge for people. Another one is to never get ANYTHING besides your earlobes (& if I had a chance I'd have even gone to a real piercer sooner ) with one of the ear guns at like Claire's or Icing! And having worked at Claire's for 4 years before & in the beginning of college I can tell you that the girls dont get much training and I was personally terrified doing it.

baseball_jen If they came in and asked for a simple ear cartilage piercing? I quietly advise against it and send them down the road to my piercer who had helped me in designing my entire body! Ooh while I'm on a roll here (bc I miss my piercings a lot) another good tip is to never get two piercings on the same ear - or for ex get the top and bottom belly button down on the same day. My piercer would never let me. if one get infected it can spread easily.

baseball_jen I'm sorry to clog up the comments on this post but a couple lessons I learned the hard way until I found Ed and I believe that knowledge about something (that tbh, I'm still addicted to the thought of! Lol) like this or tattoos (but I only have 5) is imperative for anyone to know to be as good to their body as possible! Thanks for explaining this to everyone. It very important and will make your life much easier - actually I forgot my grand total at one time was 29! LOL!!
