Yei Bi Chei is a Navajo term for supernatural beings, Winter Gods, and Grandfather Spirits. They are central to Navajo healing ceremonies and are often depicted in Navajo art. They are intermediaries between the gods and the human race and help to bring healing to the people. This is stamped "Sterling" and a makers mark but I can't make out the initials. The stones used appear to be turquoise, lapis lazuli, opal and spiny oyster. Size: 2" long Weight: 11.23 grams Condition: Excellent condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
