We purchased this beautifully made corset in the mid 90’s at Le Corset by Selima in Grenwich Village NYC. It was made by Versatile Fashions in California under Versatile’s original founder and designer Ms. Antoinette. The fabric is hand cut and the cherry blossom fabric is matched at the seems with a precision rarely seen on modern imported mass produced corsets. An elegant fashion statement as outerwear, and the generous placket ensures the continuity of the fabric behind the lacing.
