This darling sundress dates to the 1970s and was made by Young Edwardian. It is sleeveless with a sweetheart bodice and a short, full skirt. Made from lightweight woven fabric in an ivory on dark brown silhouetted floral pattern. There are slanted pockets on the skirt with ruffled trim along their edges. The neckline has a decorative drawstring at the center. Wide straps with functional buttons at the back of the neckline. The straps and pockets are finished with dark brown piping. The dress is unlined and closes with a metal zipper at center back.
No material content tag present- it feels like a cotton/polyester blend. The fabric has no stretch. Machine washable.
In excellent vintage condition- there's very light overall wear to the fabric from washing/passage of time but no stains, tears, or other flaws.
The dress was a little too small for my dressform. I didn't want to force it and could not zip it up all the way (see the 5th photo). The zipper is fully functional (see the 6th photo to view it closed).
