Helpful info: Balenciaga bags used sterling silver plates from 2001-F/W08. Authentic plates are ENGRAVED by laser all fakes are STAMPED. The numbers on the metal plate should correspond to the first set of numbers stamped into the back of the leather on the metal plate. Some replicas do match however there is usually duplicate numbers in the second set like 444, 555, 666 I have all seen. Also the stitching is always a dead giveaway in replicas.
