Z TRUE VICTORIAN ANTIQUE Cutwork Lace Trimmed SILK TAFFETTA BODICE

Someone worked very hard trimming out the Lace so it would have a more pronounced effect against the black SILK TAFFETTA. A tiny bit of it needs to be tacked down again behind the neck. Two small shatters discovered, 1 interior so not seen & a small slit on Left sleeve, price reflects. I don't recommend the wearing of antique garments as they will suffer from the acidic pH of skin and from stress applied in movement. Items this old should only be lovingly displayed.
