ZEFFIRELLI, FRANCO (1923–2019) Collection of Prints "Cavalleria Rusticana"

Florence, Italy: Artigraf. 1985. A spectacular limited edition jumbo portfolio of seven original color prints of Zeffirelli's costume designs for the historic 1970 Metropolitan Opera producion of Mascagni's most celebrated opera. Each print measures 38 x 54.5 cm. Housed, together with the limitation page, in the large original cloth portfolio and in very fine condition. The 1970 production, conducted by Leonard Bernstein, featured Grace Bumbry as Santuzza, Franco Corelli as turiddu, Frank Guarrera as Alfio, Nedda Casei as Lola and Carlotta Ordassy as Lucia.
