Hi! Would you say this fits like a true size 10? I know some gown sizing is sometimes smaller than the size that’s listed. Trying to understand the equivalent US women’s dress size

@jojoscloset21 my daughter usually wears an 8 in dresses, but I sized up based on the measurement chart and figured I could have it altered to a corset back if I needed to adjust the sizing. It fit her almost exactly as an 8 does, but the tiniest bit loose at the waist and bust. Hips no issue due to the cut of the dress. I would say closer to an 8 than a 10.
