poshkimothy Hi, Poshmark is having an event today called Closet Clearout Day. It ends at 12 midnight. Closet Clearout tends to repeat on random days every week but I always seem to miss it when it’s happening. I’m interested in your Zara gray cardigan! Have you ever participated in Closet Clearout Day before? Poshmark helps pay for the seller’s shipping fees, but you have to do it correctly. The shipping discount won’t work if you use Make An Offer or private offer.

poshkimothy Poshmark hasn’t been doing a great job of explaining what Closet Clearout Day is to sellers even though Poshmark was the one that created the event. It used to confuse me, too.

poshkimothy During Closet Clearout, if a seller drops the price of an item by at least 10% from it’s lowest historical price, then Poshmark automatically lowers the shipping to 4.99 for the buyer and also pays for the rest of the shipping fees for the seller. So both the buyer and the seller get a deal on shipping (and Poshmark eats the cost of shipping for the seller).

poshkimothy Orders placed through Make an Offer or private offer do not qualify. So if you want to trigger the Closet Clearout shipping discount, you can’t do it through Make An Offer or it won’t work.

poshkimothy Also, the Minimum final purchase price still has to be least $15. The discounted shipping lasts for six hours after a price drop is made. If a seller participates in Closet Clearout, everybody that favorited or heart reacted the item will be alerted that there’s a shipping discount and everyone will get the chance to grab it.

poshkimothy Hi sorry, it would be Poshmark (the company) that pays for the shipping discount, not you the seller. It wouldn’t cost you extra.
