@nbrooke23 pit-to-pit lying flat is 19 inches (so a true men's 38R)
Arm length shoulder to wrist: 26 inches
Length (shoulder to bottom front): 30 inches
Waist (at slimmest): 18 inches lying flat (so 36 inches total)
It's not a "slim cut" sport coat. It's classically cut. So, if he or you wears a 38R, this is true to size.
