Zbigniew Horbowy Design - Set of 4 Black Amethyst Glass Wine Goblets - Vintage Mid Century Modern from Poland 1970s Fabulous mid century modern glass wine goblets, in fantastic vintage condition! Highly collectible but still functional - whole set of 4 wine glasses. Made in Poland. Designed by famous award-winning Polish industrial designer who specialized in applied glassmaking, Zbigniew Horbowy. These glasses are highly sought after, and this set is in fantastic condition without any chips or cracks. Beautiful curved shape on a medium lenth leg with a solid yet delicate base - they are sturdy and durable. Very much the late 60s early 70s aesthetic, still the height of Mid Century Modern decor - there is something about the design that still reads very modern and timeless, despite their true age. Black amethyst glass in an art deco revival style. The base measures 3" inches in diameter, and each glass is 7.5" inches high. Impressively consitant in size and shape! A perfect set with very minimal signs of wear or age.
