Zeen Size *14 (10) Lawn Shirt in Pinks and Gold

This is a beautiful piece. There's no fabric tag, because lawn shirts are made with lawn fabric. From the web: Lawn fabric is a lightweight, sheer, plain weave fabric with a high thread count that's often made from cotton. It's known for its crispness and silky feel, and is often used for blouses, handkerchiefs, and summer dresses I also found a conversion chart, which shows that a size 14 Pakistani dress is a US size 10. I would agree with this, based on having it here in front of me and knowing my mom is a size 10, but there are measurements in the photos. The blue measuring tape is showing the length of the side slits, which are there not to be sexy, but because traditionally Pakistani women wear pants beneath the dress. This is a lovely pattern that has intricate embroidery on the bodice, keyhole with button closure at back of neck, and tassels on the sleeve cuffs. If I'm mistaken on any of this, please educate me. I do not want to offend anyone by trying to describe something I've had no experience with.
