catherinegibbon Hi @katiecoffman33 So, these shorts have a very thick waist band which allows them to fit a wider range of sizes. The thick band is also what makes them so comfortable. When I purchased I was a bit heavier and bought the larger sizes after reading reviews and for length. I wear my black ones all the time and they still fit great regardless of the weight fluctuation.

catherinegibbon For Reference, I currently wear a 4 or 6 in lulu lemon leggings and a size 6 in their shorts (I have hips & a bum). These resemble Medium Nike Shorts, but a tiny tiny bit loser around the waist ( again bc of the thick band).

katiecoffman33 @catherinegibbon thank you so much for the reference !! I really appreciate it !!! I bought these shorts in black in a small a while back ! I am OBSESSED with them! They are obviously discontinued ....but I am desperate for another pair ! The smalls are a little snug!! I LOVE the gray color and yours are the only ones listed anywhere !!! I was hoping there wasn’t much difference between sizes!! but I think I’ll hope someone has a medium laying around somewhere lol!

katiecoffman33 I didn’t realize you are also the one selling the red ones ! Omg id buy them all off of you if they were smaller ! The smalls fit me but a tiny bit tight ! I was looking for a medium but just hoping a large would fit lol! How long ago did you buy these ?!?

catherinegibbon @katiecoffman33 Of course and I too wish they still made them! Don’t know why they stopped, they were always sold out @ Nordstrom and have a random cult following, but am sure you’ll find a Medium eventually. Good luck searching!

catherinegibbon @katiecoffman33 Also as an FYI- I had so many items alter this past year and found out It is really easy to alter shorts with elastic bands, the seamstress just replaces it. Also super cheap. So if you find a Small or a stretched out Medium, that might be a good, “last resort” solution.

catherinegibbon @katiecoffman33 haha yes. Yah I would keep searching and if you find a small, have them replace the band to make it bigger. You could probably do the same with these, but the length might be different than what you want. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Purchased all on 9/17/2018
