Vintage Zentall gold tone wreath brooch with interlocking "C" shapes and gold tone beads. Signed. Measures approx. 1.75 inches in diameter 3-D modernist style Hand crafted Robert Zentall Inc. was founded in the 1950s by husband and wife Robert and Elizabeth Zentall. Elizabeth began her career as a young reporter and photojournalist in pre-war France. Robert was a jewelry designer. After escaping capture by the Nazis, the family fled to the US and started their very successful jewelry company known for high quality hand crafted costume jewelry. Elizabeth is the sister of world-famous fashion designer Etienne Aigner and pioneer photographer Lucien Aigner.
