The soles on these shoes are formed to complement the circular walking mechanics of the foot -- handmade with all leather in California, with the exception of the rubber piece on the heel to prevent slipping. Cydwoq (pronounced "sidewalk") makes incredibly comfortable and very long-lasting shoes. I've moved into even more minimalist shoes with flexible soles, so am passing these beauties along.
