I also work full time and am a single mama to twin daughters ❤️ any wisdom or tips you could throw my way please do! I’m all ears- been looking for a white scrub top all over for clinical but have yet to find one anyway much love 💕

champagneboheme @bethx04 oh my gosh!! You’ve GOT THIS, first of all!! For the scrub top, have you been checking out local good wills? If you have a bargain hunt near you, they have super cheap scrubs as well! Someone even said dollar tree recently got nice scrubs in. For the program, I would say just believe in yourself, work for your future vision (it’s so easy to get wrapped up in the stress of clinical, studying, tests, etc),!

champagneboheme @bethx04 review all unfamiliar concepts with a YouTube video explanation or rewriting notes), stay organized with a planner, and try to utilize clinical to the full potential - tell your nurse you want to hear about her work flow, thinking process, decision making, etc and tell her you want to assist with all her skills! Some nurses are mean or too busy and don’t want students but the ones that do will change your life LOL

champagneboheme @bethx04 nursing school prepares you for 5% of your real job. You will think you’re competent after passing the nclex. But as soon as you start your new job the learning starts all over. It’s okay and it’s unsafe if you feel like you know it all as soon as you start. It’s rewarding, always in demand, and so versatile. You can do this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
