handmade summer top/vest

Ultra feminine, vintage 90s top/vest. You will be the only girl to have this in your closet! Small, cotton blend, with floral pattern, ties in either front or back, slots for ties. I made the ties a little bit longer. Can be worn alone or over another blouse. Please read this all the way through and see pictures before purchasing. There are blue sewing pen marks in some places, for sewing purposes, (I don't like using tracing paper for sewing). These will fade with subsequent washings. On one of the ties, a very small length of pink basting thread got trapped inside. I tried to show it in the third picture from the top. Also I made the ties differently than illustrated, in that I sewed all sides and turned, rather than giving the sides a narrow hem. Hand embroidered lazy daisies around the facings, armholes, and two around the hem. Do not dry clean. Wash gently, lay flat or hang to dry. The second picture is how it appears on the pattern envelope. I made myself one of these summer vests in the 1990s and wore it out. I made myself a second one.
