brittwolf21590 @1539kidsm it means that you can't use the phone at all, the user has to unlock it themselves. it's apples way of protecting your info and phone if stolen. Once locked only the person who set the lock can unlock it - there is absolutely no other way round this. Basically you can't use the phone unless the person selling it unlocks it first.

It was literally like throwing $1,300.00 away because no one knew her password. The phone was less than 2 months old and she was sick so it barely got used. He took it all over to phone companies even to APPLE and researched everywhere there was no way to unlock it. So it’s crazy to make this purchase unless you are some type of hacker who can figure it out.
