los angeles atelier & other stories fitted black maxi dress size 2

insanely slinky and fitted from top-to-bottom maxi dress in black cupro/spandex. size 2! very stretchy, but also holds its shape, thus holding your body in the most flattering way! the neckline is slightly lower in the back than in the front. dress has ruching down both sides, starting just under the armpits and ending approx-above knee. the body is lined in a super-soft black rayon that feels similar to modal cotton, ending at the same point as the ruching. this dress was much-loved by me but was kept in wonderful condition. one thing i really like about it is that the straps are slightly longer than other fitted small dresses i’d found, so the armpits don’t cut weird (always a pet peeve of mine) i included a few unedited photos in direct sunlight so you can better see the back neckline shape, and the slight sheen of the dress (the color in these unedited photos does look slightly more gray than the dress does in person- but it’s definitely black!). i purchased this from & other stories website in 2017, it’s no longer available.
