GORGEOUS patent-leather Michael Kors platform mary janes. I wore these to three parties before admitting that I just can't do a 4.5" heel any longer. The half-inch platform does help, though, as do the soft squishy ball-of-foot cushions I added. The soles were very slippery so I used the old runway trick of roughing them up on some concrete for extra grip, so while they look pockmarked, they have much better traction now! Some dark discoloration on back of right heel (see photo).
