Poshmark responded & said this, in order to have your items shipped reasonable we have to split the order up. So I'd have to pay $3 for probably 8 extra boxes so the shoes won't weigh boxes down

@rachelcottone80 you would need to purchase a separate bundle for shoes, which would mean the shoes need to be in multiple boxes, since their weight all put together is way too heavy. LMK :) Poshmark just emailed me

@cherise99 it should not need 8 boxes unless it is 80 pounds. If the shoes are that heavy my niece Will not like them anyways bcz she's a lightweight 13 yr old looking for lightweight shoes. I had no idea the shoes would weigh so much! My friend has packaged 5-6 pairs together w/ other items & just got several packages w/ clothes & 4-6 pair of shoes & several purses & wallets too so I'm not sure what to say except for I would reweigh them bcz it shouldn't be over 10 lbs for what I ordered

@rachelcottone80 I. believe you're right... for the usual Poshmark fee you can fill a box or a shipping bag up to 5lbs. for things like clothing I always use the USPS flat rate envelope, they are very strong! I also reinforce with good clear packing tape. I hope you ladies were able to find a solution and divide the shoes into 5lb boxes. happy poshing!
