The necklace/ring were purchased together, but the ring was purchased separately, it just happens to match but the pearl is smaller than the necklace/earrings. As it looks silver, I thought it was sterling, but it is hallmarked 375 which is 9 carat gold. Size 8 1/2 ring, hallmarked QVC 375 anchor C 375 = 9 carat gold anchor = Birmingham C = 2002
