THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE THE EXACT POTHOLDER SHOWN IN THIS LISTING AND IT IS DISCOUNTED BECAUSE IT IS NOT MY STANDARD POTHOLDER. THAT IS WHY THIS SPECIFIC LISTING IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN MY OTHER POTHOLDER RETRO PRINTS.** The pattern for these potholders is a mid-century modern 1950s 1970s retro print in a vibrant 100% cotton print from Spoonflower’s Petal Signature Cotton™. The fabric is printed to order using eco-friendly, Oeko-Tex® certified inks that result in vibrant, wash-safe color. My 8” square handmade quilted potholders are a colorful stylish retro addition to dress up your kitchen and dinner table. You will receive the exact potholder shown in these pictures. Quilting is the process of sewing two or more layers of fabric together to make a thicker padded material. The needle and thread go through all layers to bind the material together. A potholder is to protect your table and counter surfaces from intense heat from pots, pans, and oven dishes. I create mine with four layers—top layer is a beautiful 100% cotton graphic fabric, next is 100% cotton batting, third and fourth layers are made from a multilayer silver metallic heat-resistant fabric the bottom layer in a quilted diamond pattern.
