vintage 1950s-1960s brooch, style of Haskell/ Originals by Robert, faux pearl

Length: 2 Inches; Width: 1.25 Inches Victorian Revival, opulent, gleamy, glittery style, unsigned beauty ... Like Haskell and Robert, the maker of this unsigned beauty (which looks very much like a Robert Original to me) piled on components: faux pearls, gold-washed leaves, opaque turquoise chatons, and brilliant clear crystals. Very very lush. The various adornments of the front were attached to a pin finding with perforations for wiring and rearranging. No two alike! That perforated base is not entirely covered in pretties and sparklies, so some of the holes in the base will show through if you're looking closely. See the next-to-last photo for the spot with the most holes showing; you'll get what I mean. Flaws: - a small rub to the big central faux pearl's nacre -some wear to the gold wash, particularly at the top of the front
