burnt orange leather with tons of character there are flaps of leather folded back under the toes on the insoles which makes them a bit uncomfortable to wear, but would be easily resolved with insoles previous owner glued sole about one toe, but shoe has been taken to professional cobbler since and secured heels are slightly loose but still seem pretty firmly attached to souls when tugged, with frequent wear may need another trip to the cobbler
