vintage 70s India Imports of Rhode Island block print mini dress

deepest navy & oxblood red block print cotton dress from iconic 70s label India Imports of Rhode Island. raglan set sleeves have leg o’mutton sleeve heads gathered into separate lower sleeve. neckline is adjustable with cord that ties on inside. elastic at waist has been replaced so not stretched out. bodice (shoulder to waist) is 16,” skirt (elastic waist to lower edge) is 18,” thus finished garment is 34,” but may be shorter depending how blousy you want bodice to be. bust to 37,” waist 27-30,” hips to 46.” raglan sleeves & puffed sleeves are notoriously tough to measure, but as I’ve arranged on mannequin they are 23” long (from gathered edge at top). hem is selvedge finished. vintage block print is hand done & there are many variations of dye including areas where dye is uneven, appears smeared or overdyed. If you are a collector, you know, but if you are new, these are not considered flaws, but are the fabric & dyer’s personality. please look st photos. last photo I’m wearing it over jeans, but it’s a great mini too.
