Otagiri imported Japanese ceramic products from 1958 to 1994. Its most popular designs are Polynesian-themed and feature Maori sculptures or women in the traditional hula costume. Other pieces represent animals or flower patterns. The pottery and ornaments from the brand are still sought-after among collectors.
