They were about 6 inches to long for my 5'5" height, but fit great otherwise. I decided I had nothing to lose, so I carefully cut off slit on the inside hem on each leg. This made them into more conventional jeans. They are a perfect metallic taupe that works great as a neutral with sandals.They are perhaps not as designed, but at least I am unlikely to twist an ankle.
