Very long story but basically, I was recently in Texas and went thrift shopping with my dad. I saw this almost exact dress in the store and it was $24. I was literally about to rip it off the hanger and buy it because I just fell so in love with it and imagined how good it would look on myself. Especially with my prom coming up soon, I was thinking this is literally perfect. Not too flashy but it’s the perfect amount of dressy for this type of event. So I was checking it out and realized it wasn’t my size at all. I was thinking I can just sew it up to fit my body because I sew majority of my own dresses but I just knew it wouldn’t fit my body how I imagined the correct size would. So I was pretty disappointed but took pictures of every detail of the dress and left the store. We were flying back home and I just could not stop thinking about it. So I continued to look all over the internet and other second hand shopping apps and was JAW DROPPED when I saw this dress. I immediately talked to my dad about it and bought it so quick. Though it is still a little bit big for me (but a closer size than the one I found in the thrift store), I am always able to sew it up to fit me better. I am so blessed and grateful to have found this stunning, vintage dress. Thank you so much and God bless. :)
