This is why people love vintage Dooney & Bourke. The seller offered this at a low price and for good reason - someone apparently put this nice wallet through the washer & dryer and it was dried out and stiff (but clean ...). I took a chance on it, bought it and soaked it overnight in leather conditioner and buffed it, and it came out great - the leather is soft and pliable. Vintage Dooney & Bourke leather will withstand a LOT of abuse! Thank you very much for the lovely wallet!
