TL;DR: item was so great and packed with such care I felt compelled to create a Poshmark account to thank the seller. ~ My mother gifted me a copy of this nativity set maybe 35+ years ago when I was just starting out in life. I loved it, and I've been using it to tell the nativity story to my children every year since they were very young. It's silly but it has kind of become a family heirloom. I wanted to find another copy so I could eventually bequeath one to both kids, but I had no idea who made the set or where to find another one. I have literally been searching for decades and frankly have really disliked all the other nativity sets I've seen in countless stores and online sites. So I was glad to finally find a full set, intact and in good shape. ~ I really, really, really didn't want to create yet another online account for yet another site that I probably will never use again in my entire life. I was glad Poshmark allowed guest checkouts. But then I was upset that Poshmark continued to harass me to "accept" my purchase and implied (lied really!) that the seller would not get paid unless I accepted the purchase. Obviously, that would be a terrible policy, and I went out of my way to confirm that yes, in fact, the seller does get paid if the buyer does nothing. And I was going to leave it like that. No account for you, lying Poshmark! ~ But then I opened the package. It was so carefully and lovingly packed, and every piece was in great condition. Clearly, the seller understood how precious this item was. I felt compelled to come back to this site and create this account just so I could leave this comment. Thank you, @flipnkicks33 ! ~ (The original set may have come with a cloth carrying bag. I can't tell if that was something the original had or something my mom found and gave to me to carry the set in. But it's not a crucial part of the set -- all 17 wooden figurines are intact and beautiful.)
