I feel the same way about my wedding dress...I want a one of a kind dress that when u walk in it takes peoples breath away... def blush and champagne mermaid dress with tons of bead work and Parisian lace but I wanted a full skirt for my.reception that's detachable.

@cturnor if you don't get a detachable skirt, just get a good bustle on it. I actually enjoyed walking through my reception with my train down until right before my dances. Made me feel like a queen for a long while... Did you find a designer yet?

@cali_finest94 for me it was so perfect. I really took my time planning my wedding and had a very long engagement so I didn't feel rushed. I stayed true to my vision so the wedding ended up being like a big art project for me. Just awesome. Marriage is entirely under-rated these days. Finding the man of your dreams and waking up with him every morning, truly is a fairy tale. It's so great knowing that you are spending your life with someone else who wants the same things you do and is willing to help you grow and get there. I truly wish that for everyone, to have that support and love of family around them all the time. It's an amazing experience.

@cali_finest94 it was so emotional for us especially because our family was so divided. This was the first time my half brother was meeting some parts of my family, including my mom. My husbands family had to get over religious conflicts to attend And parents were divorced and not speaking for years and years, even two girls in my bridal party had a hard falling out and were total friends that day and mended their friendship. For everyone to be able to come together and have a beautiful celebration together was quite an emotional feat for everyone.

@deekotch o thank you so much! I'm very picky too. I had to take a second job to pay it off but it was worth it for me. Everything was hand done on it, lots of delicate bead work. Pieces of or were crafted in like 4 different countries and then shipped to New York to be put together. It truly is a work of art.
