Gorgeous, handwoven Thunderbird blanket from TREK LIGHT GEAR. This is an excellent piece for camping, beach days, overall travel, or just hung over your couch. A cross between medium-heavy weight, handwoven, incredibly high quality. These are $165 retail. $165!!!!!!!!! Brand: Trek Light Gear Item: Thunderbird Full Size Handwoven Blanket Size: Full size, roughly 6.5 feet x 4 feet Weight: Roughly 3-5 pounds Retail price: $165 Care: The label recommends drycleaning, but I have washed this once before listing and it made it MUCH softer and better looking so...use your judgment. I washed on delicate and tumble dried on medium with no issues. Condition: This item has a defect on both sides which I assume is from either bleach or some kind of chemical the fabric disliked. I gently treated it and washed it and it changed not one iota, so safe to say the defect is permanent. That's the ONLY flaw on this, there are no holes/wear etc. These do have a vintage-y look and feel but you can tell this hasn't been used much, if at all, besides the bleach defect. It's edged in dainty but strong tassels which add a lot to the design. These are handmade by artisans in Mexico which is cool!
