Vintage leather doctors bag from 1800's. Beautiful antique dark brown leather doctors bag with a light brown leather liner on the inside and nicely aged brass hardware all in functioning order. Metal frame leather wrapped handle at the top with two steel rings connect it to brass hardware on the top front face of the bag. All mechanical brass latches and release button all work perfectly and have a beautiful aged patina to them. The leather is still pliable, it is not crunchy and dry or flaking. One large pocket with a leather snap button strap on the inside, and two smaller pockets along the opposite side on the inside of the bag, one of those two pockets has a tear. Built in spring loaded metal support frames hold the bag open when fully extended, both function as they should. One of them has slightly began to wear through the leather on the outside. The bottom of the bag has thick leather trim corners and the bottom of the bag has eight brass knobs.
