Vintage - nearly antique - Martinsville Moondrops (pattern #37) glasses, set of 6. Small for wine these days, but perfect for cordials, sherry, champagne, ice wine, or a scoop of sherbet.
-Gorgeous saturated ruby red color pressed glass.
-Manufactured in the USA between 1932 and 1940 by New Martinsville Glass Co., West Virginia.
-4.25"tall; 3.5" diameter at rim; approximate capacity of 4 ounces.
-Not suitable for microwaves or dishwashers.
-5 of the 6 glasses are in perfect condition. The 6th has a 3/4", narrow discoloration defect at the rim - see last 2 photos; no sharp edges and would still be usable. Could be a repaired crack, maybe? Feel free to contact me with an offer if you'd just like to buy just 4 perfect glasses.
Please note that the two carafe shown are not included in this listing, but are available separately.
(Price includes overweight/oversize shipping charges to allow "overachiever" packaging.)
