1940's CARL-ART Sterling Silver Brooch/Pin Floral Design With Purple Rhinestone

So life-like and 3-dimension, you can almost smell the flower in this brooch. Intricate detail adds so much design to this piece. All done in sterling silver and accented with a large purple rhinestone. This would make a lovely vintage addition to your blazer or coat. Carl-Art was founded by German immigrant Carl Schraysshuen. He designed and was part owner of Carl-Art from 1936-1953. The patent number on the piece dates to 1941 and is for the realistic flower in the brooch. Vintage 1940's circa Designer Brand – Carl-Art. Hallmarked "STERLING" and CA with arrow through it. Also stamped with "PAT. 130141. Measurements – The pin measures about 2 3/4" long by about 2" wide. Condition – Very good.
